Year 9 Holocaust Memorial Day Workshop

70 Year 9 students attended a Holocaust Memorial Day workshop on Monday at Finchley Reform Synagogue.

They listened thoughtfully as they learnt about the impact of the Holocaust, including learning about Irena Sendler, a Polish Catholic social worker who helped save over 2000 children from the Nazis. They also heard a survivor tell their story, and completed an interactive workshop on the relevance of the Holocaust today.

Thank you to all students who took part in this moving session and to FRS for providing this valuable opportunity for our school to take part in.
