What have you been doing since you left Archer Academy?

“I left the Archer Academy in 2021 and since then I attended University College School sixth form for two years doing Politics, Geography and Maths.

Following this I am currently studying at the university of York doing politics and international relations as well as being the captain of women’s football for my college there.”

How did you get into what you are doing now?

I always enjoyed Politics and International Relations. I think the fact that Geography and Politics were such good A levels allowed me to confidently go towards this degree.

How did Archer help to shape your post-school choices?

“Archer really built upon my love of learning amongst my peers. It was a perfect base for my social, academic and extra curricular life.
Even though I was never the best at English at GCSE level my teachers always told me that they believed in me to do politics for a levels which needed a good English grade and for that I am very grateful.”

What advice would you give a current Archer student about your chosen pathway?

I would tell them not to follow the path that is expected of them by anyone but to follow the path that makes them happy because choosing politics and international relations was a decision solely based on my passion and I am very grateful that I followed this path.

A favourite memory of life at Archer?

My favourite memory was definitely coming back from lockdown and everyone being so excited to see each other and be with each other. It was a time where we were all so grateful to be at school.
