We offer parents and children a choice of ways to come and visit our school, talk to students and teachers and start getting a sense of what life at the Archer Academy is like. Please scroll down to the end to see all the different opportunities available to you. All events will take place at our new Stanley Road campus, which can be accessed either along the Stanley Road footbridge or via Eagans Close.

Open afternoon, 21st October

Our open afternoon is on Wednesday 21st October, between 1.30pm and 3pm, and offers families the opportunity to see our school in action on a working day, with a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the hustle and bustle of our open evening. Lucy Harrison will give talks at 1.30pm and 2.15pm, and  we are asking visitors to pre-book tickets for these via our events booking page:

Small group tours (Year 6 only)

We are also holding a series of small group tours for Year 6 students and their parents. These will take place between 8th October and 15th October, and there are two slots available on most dates, at 9.15am and 1.30pm. Places will need to be booked in advance as numbers will be limited to give everyone the chance to ask questions; please call Zehra Balman on 020 8365 4110.

Informal coffee mornings (Year 6 parents only)

In addition to these more formal events, we would also like to invite Year 6 parents (not students) to attend one of our coffee mornings. These drop-in sessions will take place between 9.30am and 10.30am on Thursday 22nd October and Friday 23rd October. They will give you the opportunity to chat to members of staff in a more informal setting, and ask any questions you may have about the school. There’s no need to book, just come along on the day.

Consideration for our neighbours

Our relationships with members of our local community are very important to us. We would therefore ask anyone attending any events at the Archer Academy to consider our neighbours, and either come by public transport or park some distance away from the school and walk. Please note that there is no parking available on site; please avoid parking on Stanley Road as it is a small cul-de-sac which can easily get very congested.

Thank you for your support; we look forward to seeing you at one or more of our events.
