Outstanding results for our students in 2024
We are so delighted with the excellent results achieved by our hard-working students this year. Within the complex national backdrop surrounding the examination processes, and the specific implications of COVID for this cohort, there is so much to be proud of.
Our results further solidify our position as a top performing school and see a continued upward trajectory over time. Our provisional Progress 8 score looks set to be impressive and significantly above national averages; further highlighting the impact of both the curriculum and the quality of teaching at the Archer Academy.
Our Class of 2024 have worked exceptionally hard, overcoming so many challenges. Our fantastic team of staff have done everything they can to support them academically, as well as inspiring them to give it their all, keeping them going and helping them stay calm throughout.

Whilst our performance is excellent across the board, it is important to mark out exceptional achievements in Art (57% 7+), Biology (67% 7+), Chemistry (67% 7+), Citizenship (75% 7+), Photography (77% 7+) and RE (86% 7+). More broadly, performance across the Creative and Performing Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences was consistently excellent.
We are delighted that the vast majority of our students have secured their first choice of sixth form. This will see most moving on to study A level courses at our partner college, Woodhouse College, with others winning places at Highgate School, Dame Alice Owens, Camden School for Girls, APS, and Fortismere. Other members of our class of 2024 have secured incredible courses at Barnet and Southgate College, and other local colleges. The significance of our strategic partnership with Woodhouse College has secured a smooth progression for so many of our students, and they are very lucky to move onto such an outstanding learning environment.
Headteacher Miss Harrison commented: “Well done! Each and every student deserves to be so proud of what they have achieved. Their determination and hard work has really paid off. This year group faced such a disrupted start to Archer life but have never let it stand in their way. It has been such a privilege to watch them grow and thrive. A huge thank you must go to parents for their ongoing support and the incredible work of my wonderful staff. We look forward to supporting students in their next steps to sixth form and beyond.
